Missy Buesing, M.Ed., Career Consultant
Missy has ten years of experience in professional career counseling and employment services. She has helped those early in their careers find employment consistent with their interests, skills and abilities. Later, with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) she assisted injured veterans in setting career goals, and then getting the education and training needed to return to work. Missy has been invited to present at local, state and national career training conferences, worked as an Employment Specialist, and managed the state-wide operations of a VA employment program. She has a Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Kent State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Akron. Missy is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and is a member of the National Career Development Association (Master Career Counselor).
